This course is for Senior and Executive Staff

Aim of Course: At the end of the programme participants should be able to:

- develop a security policy that will protect organisation’s information;
- analyse the internal and external security threats against a network;
- design and implement security policies and firewall strategies;
- expose system and network vulnerabilities and device a defence against them;
- evaluate network and internet security issues.

• Firewall Planning and design;
• Bastion Host;
• Setting up a virtual Private Network;
• Firewall Configuration strategies
• Working with Proxy servers and application Level Firewall;
• Building Firewalls;
• Firewall administration;
• Encryption and firewalls;
• Authenticating Users.

Methods of Studies:

Lectures, group discussions and hands-on exercises.

Duration: Two (2) weeks
